Janelle Kendall’s Perfect Storm
isn't just a band; it's a seismic force of nature.  This female led powerhouse from St. Cloud, Minnesota, is a whirlwind of talent created in 2021 to light up a darkened stage at Pioneer Place, delivering rock anthems that get audiences on their feet from the first note to the last.  United by a passion for rock 'n' roll, Perfect Storm channels its collective talent into high energy, crowd engaging performances at outdoor festivals, concert halls, street dances, and private and corporate parties.  Their sets are party anthems from the sisterhood of rock and roll - Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Heart, Blondie, Melissa Etheridge, Bonnie Tyler, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner and more together with arena rock classics from Styx, Journey, Boston, Night Ranger, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, and Led Zepplin. They love their crowds, every show, every venue. 

WHO'S HERE?

At the helm of Perfect Storm is lead vocalist and guitar wielding Janelle Kendall, sporting powerful vocals, a fearless spirit and a charismatic stage presence.  From early beginnings in local band BLT to the wildly popular Walter’s Wheelhouse, Janelle has gone on to share the stage with Justin Ploof and the Throwbacks, a highly successful run with the Meat Loaf: Bat Out of Hell tribute, teamwork with Girls Night Out and numerous other vocal collaborations from orchestras to big bands. Flanking her are Adam Hammer and Mark "Hazzy" Hasbrouck (Surahoolies, Blimp, Neil Young Tribute), combining melodic intricacy and pure shredding guitars.  Matt Moline (Mallrats, Anthony Shore, Shirts and Skins, Sell Out Stereo) contributes thunderous bass lines anchoring the band's sound with unwavering strength, and drummer Alex Kendall’s infectious beats drive the rhythm forward teamed with Joel Thielman (Pandora's Other Box, Meat Loaf Tribute) providing depth and creativity on keys.  Stadium sized backing vocals come from Minnesota Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Pat Curto and Carolyn Yaggie Heinen (Random Road, Shaken Not Stirred). Together, the crowd loving Perfect Storm unleashes a torrent of electrifying hit songs that consistently resonate with both theater and festival audiences.
